Reveal is now set up for you to start a project instead of an individual configuration. This means that instead of having to create each configuration separately and receiving multiple output documents for each, you can now create multiple configurations at one time and receive a single output document for all of them.
You will have the opportunity to save your project at many points throughout the process by clicking the “Save” link at the top of the Review and Group Products and Configure Products pages, or the “Save” button on the Project Complete page. By saving your project you can easily access your project from your Sub-Zero and Wolf account at a later date and ensure that all the specs are up to date. You can also edit, copy, rename or delete a project from your account.
On this screen you can add all the products you would like to configure for a single project by using the + and – buttons on each product box. Depending on your project this may just be a single product, or you could have many products that will be installed in various rooms and walls of a building. Don’t worry about the order in which you add products, you will be able to group them together later.
Use the “Select from Sub-Zero Refrigeration” or “Select from Wolf Cooking” dropdowns to find products by category, or use the search bar to search by model name or number.
Add a product by using the + button within the product box. You can add as many products as you would like. It is recommended that you add all products you would like to configure before clicking the “Next Step” button.
As you add products you will see the “View Selections” link in the top right corner number increase. You can click on this at any time to view the products you have added to your project. If you come back to this screen later to add more products to your project, the View Selections link will only show new products being added to your project. Don’t worry, all of your previously selected products are still where you left them in your project.
Some product categories have filtering functionality seen to the right of the product listings. Use these to narrow down the product list.
On this screen you can combine products into groups by dragging and dropping one product onto another. You do not have to group products together but if you plan on installing any products side by side or on top of each other it’s important that you group them together in order to receive accurate output specifications. You can have any number of groups or individual products within your project. Reveal won’t allow product combinations that cannot be installed together.
When there is another product in your project that can be installed with this product it will be marked as “Can Be Grouped”.
When there are no other products in your project that can be installed with this product it will be marked as “Cannot Be Grouped”. This does not necessarily mean that this product cannot be grouped with any other products, just that there are no products within your project that it can be grouped with.
When you click (or tap) and drag a product the products that it can be grouped with will be labeled “Compatible”.
When you click (or tap) and drag a product the products that it cannot be grouped with will be labeled “Not Compatible”.
When you try to add a product to a group that has compatible products but no more products are allowed due to grouping restrictions, the group will be labeled “Product Limit Met”.
You can delete a product from your project by clicking on the “X” in the far right side of the product box. Then click “Delete”.
If you selected a single product, or only products that cannot be grouped with other products, then you will automatically bypass this screen to make the process more efficient.
On this screen you may need to select details about your configurations using the drop-down buttons. This will ensure that the specs you receive at the end are accurate for what you plan on installing. Not all products require that decisions be made on this screen. Reveal knows which products and groups require decisions and which do not, so rest assured that you are getting asked only the necessary questions. If needed, you will also be brought to the Arrange Products page using the “Confirm layout of products in this group” button. Once you are done arranging your products you will be brought back to the Configure Products page. You can also can give your groups a name to make the final output specs more organized.
On this screen you can click and drag or tap/hold and drag a product to move it in relation to the other product(s) in the group. The placement of your products will affect the specifications you are given so be sure to get the arrangement correct before continuing. Products cannot have space between them. If you intend on have a gap between products those products should be configured separately and not as a group.
