About Brian J. Witteman
Drawing on over 25 years of architectural experience - Brian uses his three dimensional computer modeling skills as well as his hand rendering ability to interpret and communicate a client's vision. Brian has a Master’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and is a member of the American Institute of Architects. His career has focused on all aspects of residential architecture, including remodeling & new construction.
Brian's experience underpins his thorough understanding of construction documents as well as his creative design approach. Brian feels that going through the process of designing a custom home should be an enjoyable experience. Making clients feel comfortable with the design team and listening to their thoughts and desires is key to getting their house to truly fit.

Where do you find design inspiration?
Our initial inspiration begins by listening to our client's desires and is fueled by our passion to interpret their lifestyle and environment into creative design solutions that integrate function and aesthetics creating spaces that encourage them to flourish.
How do you approach the design process?
We begin the design process by conducting a series of in depth interviews with our client and gathering research about the context. We define the design attributes and looking at precedents, we further understand the project themes which we shape into creative solutions that reflect the persona of our clients.
What makes your aesthetic stand out amongst other designers?
Attention to detail is very apparent in our projects. We integrate all design disciplines including architecture, interiors, lighting, and mechanical systems, into a holistic response. Through this collaboration and the careful selection of all materials, we create visually intriguing spaces that are devoid of visual distractions and that express the finishes honestly.

About Nicholas Blavat
Nicholas has over 10 years of experience in both commercial and residential architecture and has been recognized locally for his design achievement. He is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee with a Master's degree in Architecture and continues to work toward architectural licensing.
Nicholas is a valued team member who participates in all stages of the residential design process, from schematic and design development, to construction administration and client move-in. His advanced skill sets range from sketching and hand rendering to computer modeling and the production of detailed and thorough construction documents. Both his peers and clients recognize Nicholas’ enthusiasm in collaborative design and his keen eye for detailing. About Richard Sherer
Richard's residential architectural experience spans 30 years and has been recognized locally, regionally and nationally for excellence in design. Beginning his career in design build remodeling, Richard mastered the design of all areas of the home. Expanding on his knowledge, Richard successfully developed his expertise of new home design and in 1999 founded Deep River Partners, Ltd.
As design principal and owner of Deep River Partners, Richard leads a team of architects and interior designers who provide creative design solutions delivered with a holistic, low stress process that holds their client's best interests in the highest regard. His ability to accurately interpret a client's dream, assess site possibilities and restrictions thoroughly, and assemble a cohesive team of artisans is the byproduct of a lifelong commitment to excellence in architecture.
Richard perceives architecture holistically; as an experience not only of the design, but of the creation process. His goal is that the client and the assembled team participate in an invigorating and uplifting experience creating a home that beautifully fits its people and its environment.
