About Holly Rickert
With a degree in Environmental Design from Syracuse University and over 25 years in the industry practicing residential and commercial interior design, and working in both commercial and residential millwork, the last twelve years in residential kitchen and bath design have yielded the most satisfaction.
Incorporating her extensive construction knowledge and decorative arts background into design build projects, Holly enjoys working with clients to achieve their dream kitchen and bath, offering new challenges every project. Educating clients throughout the process and proposing design solutions allow a concept to evolve, enabling the client to take ownership of the design. Holly believes the ultimate gratification is client satisfaction and peer recognition.

Where do you find design inspiration?
I find design inspiration from my clients’ style, attitude and family needs. My art, architecture and decorative arts background influence all of my design decisions.
How do you approach the design process?
My design process begins with a client meeting in their home. We begin a lengthy discussion of family dynamic including size, desire to cook, style, function and most importantly the function of appliances in their daily life.
What makes your aesthetic stand out amongst other designers?
My aesthetic is unique because it is client driven. Every project is uniquely personal and not about me. I am as comfortable doing a contemporary space as a pure Arts & Crafts kitchen. Details are thoroughly researched to archive a clear interpretation of any particular style.
What is the greatest value you provide to your clients?
The greatest value I bring to my clients is education. Education and exposure to all the current materials, styles, function and process, aide in a smooth running project with a successful outcome.
