2019-2021 KDC Finalist

Glass walls and doors on all sides of the living, dining, and kitchen areas provided a challenge. One of Meryl’s goals was to diminish some of the light with darker, light-absorbing surfaces. Cabinetry was enhanced with stone and fine detailing, including aged brass strips to accent marble joints. Sub-Zero refrigeration formed the basis of the design for the wall joinery that connects the front and back kitchens. The black glass on the Wolf ovens and cooktops worked with the deep shades of the marble.
