The homeowners of this traditional log home desired an updated, contemporary aesthetic that would complement the organic charm of their home's prominent wooden beams and stone walls. With a life centered around family gatherings and appreciation of the surrounding natural beauty, every aspect of this kitchen's design merges rustic warmth with modern sophistication.

MODERN AESTHETICS MEET RUSTIC CHARM

Modern colors and materials complement the natural tones of the home’s original architecture and the surrounding mountains, creating a cohesive and stylish space that connects to the landscape.

IMPRESSIVE ENTRANCE

The design creates a 'wow' effect with its contemporary look, naturally drawing guests into the space from the adjacent front entrance.

OPEN AND FUNCTIONAL LAYOUT

To create a sense of openness, the design connects the kitchen with the dining area and newly added bar. This layout encourages relaxed socialization, making the kitchen a central hub for family gatherings and entertaining. The concealed pantry behind a custom cabinet door offers functional storage for hosting essentials.

SKYLIGHTS

Although original to the home, the skylights play a crucial role in the renovated kitchen design. They fill the space with natural light, enhancing the openness and premium finishes.
