Where do you find design inspiration?
I pour through design magazines and books to find inspiration. I have a wonderful collection of vintage interior design publications, and I love to randomly pull past issues to spark to my creativity. l also find inspiration in unique architectural elements and motifs.

How does your aesthetic stand out amongst other designers/architects?
My designs stand out because of my intricate attention to detail. My work thoughtfully reflects the surrounding environment, whether that be a historic century-old home, urban loft or bucolic rural farmhouse. In the Stevenson project, for example, everything from quarter-sawn oak floors to arched openings pay homage to the home's historic character.

What is the greatest value you provide your client?
As my long-standing clients can attest, I see a project from start to finish, and provide an unmatched level of service.

What does the Sub-Zero and Wolf Kitchen Design Contest mean to you?
Sub-Zero and Wolf has become synonymous with elite kitchen design. Like the products themselves, winning the Sub-Zero and Wolf contest would elevate my design to the highest caliber.

What are some of the current design trends?
Today's emerging design trends make kitchens one of the most unique and central rooms in the home. A light and airy aesthetic continues to be a top trend as we are incorporating open shelving with minimal wall cabinets in our designs. Additionally, we are taking full advantage of ceilings and use them as a focal point.

Where do you see kitchen design going in the next 5 years?
In the next five years, kitchen design will feature a sleeker and cleaner aesthetic. Clients will be interested in inventive design that is polished and uncluttered. Technology will also play a major role in the kitchens of the future as refrigeration systems will keep food fresher longer, resulting in smaller and more efficient storage.
